Today my group and I were discussing on the storyboard of the music video. We touched up on a couple idea's such as an editing isea by making the video black and white to capture the seriousness of the video. For some reason I feel that when video's are black and white they tend to convey a more serious approach. Furthermore, we discussed on starting the video of with by setting the scene in places of either brick lane or brixton, that we haven't exactly confirmed yet with the setting location.

Referring back to the audience feedback, good ideas were given out which I plan to use such as an idea given to my group and I by one of our classmate to instead of showing our family due it being too uncomfortable, instead we could just use voices being shouted at the character to show that his family isn't good. Which I think is quite a good alternative because it still allows us to convey that message that my group and I wanted.
One ethical issue was raised which was about how we should be careful on who we shoot in the video.

Production thoughts n idea in the making
Today we discussed on the basis of the music video that we are going to produce . We've decided to do the song J-cole "love yours"
We also discussed and got some points down for the storyline basis and how we are going to show this in the video
Got a couple ideas on who will be involved in the video.
Practice Music Video Project
Well here is the video to the finished video that me and josh did to Joey badass's track"Survival tactics" during this production we did learn a lot actually.
Number 1. it is not easy when editing the video and trying to sync that audio with the video
Number 2. the process of editing is also quite a difficult process, during editing we learned how to add in effects such as the fading of the sound that was used and the fading out and in of the video which was also used.
Since it's out first time there are clearly a lot of room for improvement, however this has made me more comfortable with editing and filming, hopefully the real production would be much more better.

initial thoughts
Today I started on making thoughts with my new group Josh and Tamnin on how our music video is going to be. Today we've been searching for music tracks to do for the project but it's been kind of difficult because most of the music tracks we suggested already had music video's. However, we've also been looking at artists such as Kendrick lamar, J-cole, Joey badass and others.

Today I got to finish shooting the music video, surprised I got to the finish line for the shoots today, had quite a situation that had to be dealt with. Can you imagine the guy who was supposed to be lip syncing aka the star of the video ended up switching classes, so he was out of the picture and that caused quite a kerfuffle. But fortunately, things worked out well, thankfully. I had to take the role but it wasn't something I wanted to do because personally I just wasn't feeling and therefore made it a bit uncomfortable. One way or another, to get the project done I had to come over the discomfort. In the end by a miracle, me and my new partner got all the shots that we needed and switched up the song choice to "Joey badass survival tactics". So all's well that end well!!!
Now for the editing to come...

Today just went over the planning of my production of a pre-music video with my partner. Having a little taster before the actual real production of the Music video.
Went over the locations, shots and lip syncing process, haven't touch editing yet but soon to come, I think that's more of a thing that will be touched on when we finish shooting the music video.
For example, the type of shots we plan on doing:
For the locations:
Oh yeah, the video that we're doing is "Happy" by "Pharrell" hopefully all goes well with the project!

- Close up shots
For the locations:
- "The street" aka the biggest hallway that my college has(it's really really big and long)
- The hallway in the music department in my college
- The stair case
- Another stair case area but in a different area in the college(business department)
Oh yeah, the video that we're doing is "Happy" by "Pharrell" hopefully all goes well with the project!
